Due to our proximity to the University of Virginia, pre-vet students have been an integral part of our veterinary health care team. Prevet students can assist with treatments in the clinic with sick foals requiring continuous nursing care and by riding with and assisting our veterinarians on farm calls. Interested students should contact our office by phone or email. Veterinary medical students who are participating in our externship program have priority as our availability is somewhat limited. A staff member will respond after availability is determined.
