Georgetown Equine Hospital is an ambulatory and hospital practice located in the heart of
Virginia's hunt country. The practice was founded in 1959 by
Daniel Flynn, VMD, in conjunction with a small animal practice that continues to exist adjacent
to the equine facility. Georgetown Equine has developed an emphasis on sport-horse lameness, and
the facility has adapted to this purpose.
The caseload is largely comprised of hunter/jumper, event, dressage, and other sport horses
along with high quality Thoroughbred breeding farms. Some clients have utilized the
services of Georgetown Equine for over thirty years. We feel that this is a reflection of our
dedication to our clientele and to our desire to provide excellence in all aspects of equine
veterinary care.
